Thank you for your participation in the Guggenheim Museum's Annual Holiday Party in December. The party was a huge success!

You gave a masterful performance at Franklin Library! As Moogie the Clown, you entertained and educated over 40 children and their parents for an hour and a half. It was evident by the way they laughed and participated during your program that your humorous and gentle style delighted the families who attended. I also heard many wonderful remarks from the parents ...and saw smiles on every face painted child as they exited the program area.
By demonstrating how a clown puts on makeup and costume, the children (aged 3-7) were tremendously enthusiastic for, rather than afraid of, clowns. After you had left, one child told her parents that she wanted to be a clown when she grew up!
The concept of your program is unique and works very well in a library setting. Our Franklin Township families greatly enjoyed the magic show and face painting during the second half of your program. Every library should take advantage of your artistry!

The children ranged in age from one to eight and you got every one of them laughing and participating. Even the child who refused to believe you weren't a "scary" clown was eventually won over!

RoByn Thompson (Moogie the Clown) has very generously provided RSVP of Bergen County with training for our Clown On Call program. The volunteers in this program visit hospitals, nursing homes, etc. She taught our volunteers ballooning, face painting, make-up and costuming, etc. But most important, she taught them how to conduct themselves with respect and compassion toward their audiences.
RoByn is a wonderful clown. She is a marvelous teacher and a thoughtful, compassionate person.
